Clay | Stone eyes stoned | Balance
She looked at herself, screaming, and petrified. She saw others looked at her, screaming, and petrified. The snakes are her nightmare, To others, she is their childhood fear. Head on the shield, How ironic. They didn't see her as a lady who was worth loving. Thousands of faces out there, The one they last seen was hers. "Don't look her in the eyes!" They said, But she was stoned by her own reflection. The inspiration comes from Greek Mythology. 20.0" X 13.5" X 0.7" |

Clay | The Nude | Contrast
Nobody is unbreakable; sometimes, you have to pacify the nude inside you. She is lonely and sensitive, don't pretend you never notice, she is you. "The you" when you think nobody is looking; "the you" who you see everyday in the mirror; "the you" that belong to nowhere. So embrace her, she is vulnerable. Inspired by Picasso - "The Nude (back view)" (1902) & "The Dream" (1956). |
